A Voyage Through Cinema — Ennio Morricone: Oscar Winning Music

The world-famous melodies of the great Italian composer and conductor Ennio Morricone, from films such as Cinema Paradiso, The Mission, Malena and many more, take center stage in this concert performed by the Italian all-female orchestra “LE MUSE”, featuring Morricone’s unique diva Susanna Rigacci, who accompanied him in his concerts for over 20 years.

Ennio Morricone, the Italian composer and conductor who captivated audiences worldwide with his music, won two Academy Awards, three Grammy Awards, four Golden Globes, two European Film Awards – Golden Lion, and many other honors throughout his career. More than 70 million records of his music have been sold worldwide. His compositions have moved entire generations and span a wide range of musical genres, establishing him as the most important soundtrack composer of all time.

The outstanding soprano Daniela Placci holds a special place in the Le Muse Orchestra, which is conducted by pianist, founder, and maestro Andrea Albertini.
